Blending ECM and BPM: Laserfiche 9

Laserfiche has released Version 9 of its namesake platform, which combines enterprise content management (ECM) and business process management (BPM) functionality across the Laserfiche product line.

The company highlights the following new and enhanced features in Version 9:

Web-based forms that extend business processes to the point of capture. The company explains Laserfiche Forms is the centerpiece of the Laserfiche 9 release, enabling both IT and business units to easily break processes down into tasks in a way that everyone understands. Laserfiche Forms makes Web forms and process automation accessible to even the smallest departments and companies.

Functionality specifically designed to increase executive oversight of business processes. New in Version 9 are Laserfiche Business Processes, which the company calls “super workflows” that provide more options for task management and process reporting.
