Mercado has unveiled the latest version of its CSN software, which features a comprehensive toolkit for merchandising, according to the company. Version 3.0 is said to help business managers to easily control and merchandise every aspect of their Web site and execute their target marketing objectives.

The companys says V 3.0 enables merchandising managers to specify and run A/B testing on their site, define personalized promotions, personalize the buyer's experience or build complete canned Web pages with minimal support from the IT department.

Mercado adds that CSN V 3.0 includes an out-of-the-box merchandising engine that drives all the merchandising objects on an e-commerce Web page such as best sellers, related products, promotional banners, recommended products and collateral. The company says that through Commerce Management Console, business managers can quickly add merchandising rules that promote desired products, brands or categories on all of these merchandising objects.
