Accusoft announces PDF Xpress 5

Accusoft has released PDF Xpress v5, a software development kit that enables image and page extractions and supports the latest PDF versions.

Using Xpress v5, developers enable users to move, add and delete groups of pages, or extract specific pages from a PDF document and then automatically build a new PDF document using the extracted pages. Further, says Accusoft, image extraction makes it possible to create Web pages, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, etc., from images contained in a source PDF document.

Additionally, the company reports the new version allows developers to build a portfolio PDF viewer that can view all of the attachments of a PDF portfolio, as well as add and remove PDF attachments. Developers can also add and edit the properties of hyperlinks, determine the PDF version of a document and change bookmark properties.
