Access and Equifax Workforce Solutions Partner

Access, a privately held records and information management services provider, has formed a a partnership with Equifax Workforce Solutions, a provider of human resource compliance, analytics and verification services, and a business unit of Equifax Inc.

With this partnership, Access will extend the functionality of its document management solution, FileBRIDGE for HR, by integrating with Equifax Workforce Solutions Compliance Center, a technology portal that streamlines new hire onboarding. Through process and regulatory update automation, Compliance Center helps employers manage the onboarding process by providing state and federal required notifications for new employees and insight management reporting.

The combination of changing labor and employment legislation, increased enforcement with growing fines, and and the higher risk of class action lawsuits means it is critical for organizations to properly manage all employee records, said Jim Farrell, senior vice president of products at Access.  The new partnership expands the role of FileBRIDGE for HR as a key tool in helping employers remain compliant with appropriate regulations, from the hiring process through the long-term life of a document, he added.

Using Compliance Center within FileBRIDGE for HR, employers can achieve a standardized, automatic process where required forms are completed and retained appropriately to support an audit or legal inquiry. In addition, Compliance Center helps reduce risk through I-9 Management and E-Verify solutions, electronic W-4, and state- and federal-required notifications.
