expert.ai customer Rabobank has deployed several KM-related projects utilizing its AI-based natural language technology. Headquartered in the Netherlands, Rabobank Group is a full-range financial services provider that operates on cooperative principles.  It is a global leader in food and agriculture financing and sustainability-oriented banking. The company is present in 40 countries with more than 40,000 employees around the world.

In its efforts to become a digital bank, Rabobank launched a project to bring automation and intelligent understanding to how it managed documents and email, both from content generated internally or coming from external sources, such as customer emails. The ultimate goal was to increase the quality of customer service by accelerating response times and improving interactions with customers.

In November 2018, Rabobank's content recognition teams chose expert.ai and its AI-based natural language technology to help them across three main domains: email management, data classification, and extraction from all internal documentation and contract comparison.

Following this successful project, the company then also explored other use cases for AI-based natural language technology, including for the management of Insurance policies.

Rabobank also collaborated with expert.ai to establish an in-house competency center staffed by employees trained in AI and natural language understanding to support all of the bank's AI-based business initiatives. To date, Rabobank has deployed nine NL related projects with expert.ai.
