To improve its product development process, Wolf Lingerie Group has deployed a product lifecycle management (PLM) solution. The company, which designs, manufactures and distributes lingerie for its own brands as well as for other brands and retailers, has chosen the Centric 8 PLM platform from Centric Software.

Roland Neyton, supply chain director at Wolf Lingerie, explains, “We needed to strengthen collaboration and bring our design, marketing, costing, buying and production teams together to reinforce collaboration and develop synergies.”

Neyton continues, “We work a lot with spreadsheets, multiplying the risk of errors and sharing inconsistent information, which is a real waste of time for the different teams involved in the product development process. We want to break down the silos between our departments to work better together, and I believe Centric 8 PLM will help us.”

Creative, marketing, buying, costing and production teams at Wolf Lingerie in France—where the company’s design and development activities are based—and in China—where it has manufacturing operations—will use the PLM suite, including its mobile apps.

According to Centric Software, Wolf Lingerie Group chose its solution because of its ease of use and Agile Development methodology. The latter is said to enable rapid results and to meet the Wolf team’s expectations in terms of reactivity and return on investment.

Wolf Lingerie expects to improve collaboration throughout the supply chain and simplify internal and external processes in line with best practices.

“Centric 8 PLM will allow us to be more accurate, efficient and reliable in order to optimize our processes and remain competitive,” Neyton says.
