Refining the search for recruits

Peopleclick, a work force acquisition provider for global companies, has deployed an enterprise search solution that provides conceptual search and scalability for its clients.

Peopleclick is using Fast Search & Transfer's FAST Data Search to power its recruitment management system (RMS). The categorization and drill-down capabilities of the solution allow users to expand and refine their search results by requesting "more candidates like this" and "best-fit candidates."

In addition, the solution will allow Peopleclick recruiting clients to:

  • simultaneously search unstructured data, such as résumés, candidate and interviewer notes and attachments, and structured data, such as education data and questionnaire answers;
  • • search multiple candidate languages with multilanguage criteria;
  • perform geographic proximity searches of metropolitan regions; and
  • retain ad hoc search criteria until the next query.

"Our clients are adding nearly one million candidates per month through Peopleclick RMS, and they depend on us to provide a candidate and résumé search tool that quickly delivers the most relevant results," says Kathleen V. Barton, senior VP of marketing and product development at Peopleclick.

Peopleclick's RMS is a hosted, Web-based solution that manages full-time employee staffing from candidate identification and pre-screening to qualification and selection.
