Oregon Medical Group has selected a business intelligence and performance management solution for reporting, dashboarding and budgeting.

The primary care-based, multispecialty medical group, with 100 physicians and 13 neighborhood clinics throughout the Eugene and Springfield area, has chosen technology from BOARD. With the solution, the medical group can provide physicians with ready access to pertinent information, and place the various data elements required under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) at their fingertips.

Joshua Kimball, chief operating officer of Oregon Medical Group, says, “BOARD allows us to use data from various databases to get a much better picture of the operations of the group. The flexibility of BOARD and having it installed locally makes connecting to disparate data sources easy, giving us a complete view of our patient population and an overview of the business.”

According to BOARD, its technology provides one analytical version of the truth that enables users to pull reports without having to write code, and eliminates bottlenecks in report development. Running automated reports allows business users to spend more time analyzing data than compiling it. With the solution, Oregon Medical Group can reconcile and report on inconsistencies in data between various databases. Dashboards provide a comprehensive view of the business as well as clinical quality measures for patient population management, BOARD says.
