Xythos Software has released its Xythos on Demand secure file storage and collaboration service.

Designed for small- to medium-sized organizations that do not have the resources to install and manage their own document and file management systems, Xythos on Demand operates on an enterprise-class, highly secure platform employed by Fortune 500 and federal government organizations, the company explains. Xythos further reports that the new service provides a wide variety of collaborative features that simplify how users share information both within and between organizations, including document level access control and versioning, content change notification and e-mail integration.

The company offers both individual and group accounts for Xythos on Demand, including a free 30-day trial for either service. Customers can also increase storage and bandwidth quotas at any time.
