Remedying risk

Iron Mountain has launched a number of resources designed to help organizations mitigate risk, comply with increasing regulations and avoid potential legal problems.

They include:

• a "Retention Center" to help companies identify records repositories that contain information needed for discovery and compliance audits, as well as to enforce a retention schedule;
• a free electronic records management how-to DVD distributed to every law school and federal court library in the country depicting a mock pre-trial conference before a real judge and addressing potential ERM issues; and
• an alliance with Microsoft that will combine Iron Mountain's expertise in records management policy, process and archiving with Microsoft's commonly used office and collaboration platform technologies.
