Securing content

Code Green Networks has announced the availability of connectors that tightly integrate enterprise content management solutions with the Code Green Networks Content Inspection (CI) Appliance. Initially supporting both Stellent and EMC Documentum, the Content Connectors scan repositories to fingerprint confidential content and metadata using Code Green Networks' Deep Content Fingerprinting capability, the company explains.

Code Green further states that its offering enables enterprises to effectively protect content stored in ECM and file systems against unauthorized disclosure via the Internet. The connectors automatically scan repositories and identify confidential content based on the standard query language and metadata provided by ECM platforms. The Content Inspection Appliance inspects content traffic at the Internet gateway and provides a last line of defense that complements ECM security capabilities.
