Delphi Summit just a week away

By 2002, B2B transactions will hit the $5 trillion mark, according to the Delphi Group, so no one will argue that B2B represents the most dynamic influence on how enterprises deal with both internal and external customers. Although there isn’t much time left to register, executives considering a move into that space — or those already in it — might be wise to attend Delphi’s e-Business Summit 2000.

The conference will be intensely case-study driven, with 50 sessions in six tracks with some 30 detailed solutions demonstrations. Expect to leave the event with a better understanding of how to form strategic business alliances, outline a new organization structure, gain insight on process intimacy between partners and customers and how to build a loyal brand. The summit will be held May 7 to 10 at the Del Coronado Resort in San Diego.

KMWorld has five free seats to Tom Peters’ keynote address at 8:30 a.m. on May 9, and we’re giving them away. To be eligible, simply provide us a knowledge management implementation story using the following guidelines:

1. You must be an end user who addressed and solved a business problem with a KM solution;2. Describe the business problem or executive directive;3. Provide a brief description of the internal process that took place to envision, evaluate and approve the solution;4. Explain the compelling reasons the solution providers were selected, and what part they played in the implementation and any ongoing participation in the day-to-day operation of the solution;5. Identify the challenges faced during implementation as well as those encountered daily; and6. Calculate the benefits derived from the solution.

You must be a subscriber to both KMWorld and NewsLinks to be eligible. Entries will be considered for publication. DEADLINE IS MAY 4.
