DTI unveils new Easyread Pro displays

Document Technologies (DTI) has released a new line of Windows-compatible displays that can reduce eyestrain and improve your reading productivity. The Easyread Pro monitors offer 16 levels of gray-scale at 1800 x 1440 resolution with an equivalent dot pitch of .12 mm. A Chromamatch feature maps colors to shades of gray based on the illuminosity of the color being mapped.

The monitors are designed to help reduce the eyestrain of data entry workers who stare endlessly at scanned images, forms, or other documents. According to a Berkeley professor of optometry, users of these monitors experience 30% more reading productivity and 60% less eyestrain, a problem that affects an estimated 15 million workers nationwide.

The Easyread displays include a grayscale monitor with an anti-reflective coating and a cable, and connect to any SVGA or high-res adapter board. Suggested list pricing is $1,775 for the 20-inch monitor, and $1,995 for the 21-inch monitor
