Jetform signs licensing agreements in financial services

Jetform has signed OEM agreements with three companies serving the banking industry to offer its JetForm Design, JetForm Filler, and JetForm Central products with various banking software packages. Together the three OEMs serve customers in 47 countries, offering information processing management, electronic transaction management, and outsourcing services and application software to the financial, mortgage and telecommunications industries.

ALLTEL's Information Services division will embed JetForm technology in its Direct Sales Workstation, the branch component of ALLTEL's Integrated Delivery Solution. JetForm Filler will be deployed on Windows 95 PCs and JetForm Central will be embedded into ALLTEL's Windows NT and UNIX-based solutions. SLM Software will bundle JetForm Central and JetForm Design with its electronic financial services solutions to offer form design, information management and output delivery capabilities. The combination will allow users to redesign and output documents such as new-account applications, loan-origination forms, bank statements, invoices, or expense reports to a printer, fax, E-mail, or the Internet. USERS Incorporated will embed JetForm Central for OpenVMS into DataSafe, the company's core product, to better manage the output from credit union applications.

The new OEM deals extend Jetform's reach into the banking and financial services market, where the company already has over 80 clients. "The success of our intelligent electronic forms and output management software is based on its ability to dramatically reduce costs, streamline customer-facing processes, and improve the quality of the service the customer receives," commented Phil Weaver, Jetform executive VP and COO.
