WR Systems, Tower ink deal

As the foundation for its vertically pre-engineered knowledge management, ERP and E-business solutions for health care, pharmaceutical, legal, government and intellectual property, integrator W R Systems has announced an alliance with Tower Software for its TRIM 4.2 records management system and electronic document management system. Scot Townsend, director of enterprise solutions for WRS, indicated, TRIM "was the best-of-breed/best-in-class winner...during our internal RMS/EDMS product evaluation," beating out Provenance Systems and PC DOCS, among others. Ray Yu, WRS's president and CEO described the alliance as part of a broader strategic initiative for the systems integrator. "We are developing practice communities also known as centers of excellence for federal and commercial markets. TRIM will be a integral component of our Knowledge Management Practice within our Enterprise Solutions Division."
