think-cell Adds AI-Powered Automation for PowerPoint Design and Chart Creation Software
think-cell, a provider of productivity software for PowerPoint users, is launching think-cell version 9, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered update of its signature software.
With a single PowerPoint add-in, think-cell says, its AI approach streamlines the creation of more than 40 chart types and dozens of data-driven visual enhancements, automating PowerPoint work and improving slide creation efficiency and quality.
New version 9 features and improvements include the addition of an Automatic Layout capability that allows users to quickly build complex layouts such as process flows, tables and agendas in minutes by using smart think-cell elements, including pentagons, chevrons and text boxes.
In addition, Chart Capture, powered by think-cell’s proprietary AI algorithms, is a new feature that automatically extracts data from existing chart images from any digital medium including websites or PDFs. think-cell also now automates the creation of data-rich presentations from big data analyses by allowing dynamic updates from cloud-based data sources.
According to think-cell, nearly 75% of all PowerPoint work is spent on recurring visualizations, with more than half of that time spent on layouts and the remainder is spent on charts. Using think-cell reduced the time spent working on charts by 70%, the company says.
think-cell 9 is compatible with Microsoft Office, allowing users to work in their familiar PowerPoint environment.
