Web experience management

On the heels of its acquisition of Infostoria, a provider of Web 2.0 collaboration and content sharing tools for the enterprise, and part of its "Web Experience Management" initiative, FatWire has released TeamUp, new software said to offer true enterprise 2.0 collaboration capabilities, including wikis, blogs and social tagging, as well as a content integration platform.

FatWire TeamUp capabilities include:

Instant internal collaboration--enables non-technical users with a single click to set up a wiki and blogs, as well as invite participants from within the enterprise or partner organizations to join.

External site community--facilitates user-generated content and community-building among customers and other site visitors.

Content integration and reuse--enables sharing of rich media via a peer-to-peer, enterprise-class content integration platform.

Digital asset management--delivers capabilities to centrally store and manage terabytes of videos, images and documents.

Enterprise-class deployments--offers role-based workflow capabilities and an enterprise-class security infrastructure including access control, authentication, single sign-on and more.

FatWire has also introduced a roadman for rapid integration of FatWire TeamUp with FatWire Content Server.
