Web accessibility compliance for education, the public sector

HiSoftware has launched Web Accessibility Managed Services for Higher Education and State and Local Government, which is designed to help those budget-constrained organizations meet national mandates for compliant, accessible websites in the short term, while integrating into future strategies.

Web Accessibility Managed Services is said to offer a cost-effective alternative for academic institutions and state and local government agencies that need accessibility monitoring but cannot commit. The hosted service runs on HiSoftware’s Compliance Sheriff platform and offers quarterly scans and detailed reports of public-facing website content for up to 20 domains, providing administrators a thorough audit of Web content.
