VAI Teams Up With HelpSystems

VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.), an enterprise resource planning software provider, is partnering with HelpSystems, a provider of document management solutions.

Through the collaboration, the companies will incorporate HelpSystems’ document and forms management capabilities into VAI’s S2K Enterprise to provide customers with an integrated document management and workflow ERP system.

HelpSystems’ document management capabilities include automated process and workflow management, document scanning, digital storage, data capture, forms management and document creation. With HelpSystems’ accounts payable workflow, which is being rolled out to VAI customers first, users will be able to maintain a paperless archive of invoices that is well-organized, easily searchable, and secure.

Beyond HelpSystems’ accounts payable system, its additional capabilities will be particularly helpful for customers in the food and beverage and manufacturing industries. VAI customers in these industries can use HelpSystems’ solutions to automate quality testing with electronic food safety and product quality forms.

VAI customers appreciate seamless integration between their ERP and HelpSystems’ document management tools, said Howard Latham, general manager of document management at HelpSystems, noting that the new partnership with VAI enables HelpSystems to further improve its customers’ day-to-day operations.
