Unleashing the flow

iManage has announced an OEM agreement with Fujitsu Software that will bring new workflow capabilities to iManage WorkSite MP, the multi-platform version of the company’s software suite. iManage claims WorkSite MP is the first application suite to combine document management, collaboration, workflow and portal functionality in an integrated solution, WorkSite MP operates across Windows NT, Linux and Solaris platforms and is extensible using COM and Java.

The agreement calls for iManage to embed the Fujitsu i-Flow Business Process Management engine in iManage WorkRoute, the component of WorkSite used to create and manage business processes. Embedded in iManage WorkSite MP, i-Flow will enable customers to automate these practices and procedures and have the process automation system accessible to workers anytime, anywhere, say the companies.
