Social media analytics in real time from Attensity
Attensity has unveiled what it says is the first real-time, semantically annotated social media data stream designed for large enterprises. Attensity Pipeline collects data from more than 150 million social media and online sources (including the full Twitter Firehose public Facebook and Google Plus posts, as well as blogs, forums, and video and review sites.
The company highlights the following capabilities of Attensity Pipeline:filtering to eliminate irrelevant results and spam;
- automatic identification, extraction and tagging of the key sentiments, people, places, products, companies, events and relationships found in the data using Attensity’s natural language processing engines; and
- additional data augmentation, including geographics, demographics and influencer metrics.
Attensity Pipeline normalizes all data into a common JSON format to simplify data consumption, allowing it to act as a single social data feed for the entire enterprise. Results from Attensity Pipeline are currently fed to Attensity Analyze including Attensity Command Center, with the capability soon coming to deliver results to companion the company’s social CRM application, Attensity Respond.
