Actiance has released Vantage 2013. Powered by the Actiance Governance Platform, the new version allows organizations to manage security, retention and compliance policies for a wide range of communications channels—including, enterprise social software, public instant messaging networks and unified communications—from a single platform.

Vantage 2013 adds support for Microsoft Lync 2013 and IBM Connections 4.5, extends support for Jive with real-time event capture, adds support for control and recording of Lync VoIP calls and permits direct archiving to Symantec Enterprise Vault.

Actiance further claims Vantage 2013 is designed to provide a robust governance platform to support future communications and collaboration channels as they become available.
