Day has introduced its new Communiqué (CQ) 5.2 suite, which the company explains offers social collaboration capabilities and digital asset management (DAM) applications tightly coupled with Day’s Web content management platform, CRX.
CQ 5.2 includes new interactive tools for marketers designed to enhance online collaboration and promote the brand. It further offers drag-and-drop components for interactive marketers to enable user self-registration, profile management, commenting, ratings, tagging, discussions and blogging to any Web page or Web site, while maintaining full control with advanced CRX-powered moderation, access control, audit trails and more, Day reports.
CQ 5.2 also provides out-of-the-box components for building wiki pages; enabling RSS feeds; and sharing content, applications and social profile information with external social networks like Facebook and LinkedIn. For the first time, interactive marketers can build community and collaboration into their new and existing Web sites, without needing separate systems and micro-content management systems for their online community efforts.
