SharePoint RM from FileTrail

FileTrail has announced Unified Records Management (URM) for SharePoint 2010, which the company maintains lowers the cost of information management through its life cycle within SharePoint while decreasing litigation exposure.

FileTrail reports URM can be applied to an existing SharePoint Farm, reducing the need for expensive SharePoint customization or data migration. Using URM, the company says, records managers can establish and run their program without acquiring deep SharePoint knowledge. In addition, the automatic classification tool eliminates the need for knowledge workers to understand retention or take an active role in records management.
