Scientific content for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

Scientific publisher Springer has released the SpringerLink mobile app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Free to download from the iTunes App Store, it provides access to articles and chapters from more 2,000 peer-reviewed journals and 49,000 books.

The SpringerLink mobile app includes features such as notifications, search, save and share abilities, document details with abstracts and full-text views available to institutional subscribers. The user can be notified from the app’s home screen when any new chapters or articles are published that meet the criteria of his or her saved search, allowing users to specify areas of interest and quickly check for new, relevant publications.
