Public BPM app market from Appian

Appian has launched the new Appian App Market, which allows customers to view and access a large inventory of pre-built business applications and platform components for use in accelerating deployments on the Appian Platform.

The applications and components are developed by Appian and its global partners. Partner-developed solutions are available from Appian partners, but many of the Appian-developed solutions and components are available at no additional charge to Appian customers directly from the App Market. At launch, the App Market includes more than 70 business applications and components, a growing number driven by Appian’s rapidly expanding partner ecosystem.

The company claims the Appian Platform offers the fastest time-to-solution for the creation and delivery of innovative enterprise applications that integrate enterprise data, process management, native mobility, social collaboration and portable cloud/on-premise hosting. Further, it says, the applications available on the Appian App Market speed deployment times for a variety of application types and uses cases, while the market’s downloadable components extend the platform’s capabilities through pre-built specialized functions. All applications and components are vetted and approved by Appian prior to availability on the App Market.
