On-demand Web compliance from Sitecore and HiSoftware

Sitecore has launched the HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff App, which scans content for privacy, accessibility and site quality issues prior to publishing and reports on violations to ensure compliance with regulatory and other internal policies. Sitecore says by adding this application to its Customer Engagement Platform, organizations can reduce the risk of litigation, fines and penalties, and ensure online content is in line with privacy guidelines.

Available through the Sitecore App Center, the compliance app allows organizations to scan content on demand in Sitecore to ensure compliance with over 75 pre-defined checkpoints built into the app, including pre-defined checkpoint groups for WCAG 2.0 and select privacy and site quality checks. HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff for Sitecore App Center is based on technology from HiSoftware, a developer of content-aware compliance and security software.
