Convera reports Intraspect Software has embedded its RetrievalWare search, retrieval and categorization technology as part of Intraspect's Version 5.5 product release.

Convera adds that with RetrievalWare, Intraspect 5.5 delivers several significant architectural improvements in the areas of search and query to support its customers' enterprise deployments, including increased capacity for millions of documents, increased performance and scalability for searches under heavy loads, the ability to index a greater number of document types, and stronger future support for multi-lingual repositories and documents.

Intraspect is said to offer an enterprise collaboration platform, combined with tools and an application framework, that enables the rapid delivery of solutions that easily integrate into the processes used to drive business.
