Kofax introduces Xtrata Pro

Kofax has released Ascent Xtrata Pro, which the company says is designed as an easy-to-implement solution that works in tandem with Ascent Capture to classify and extract data from any document type. Kofax says the new product is able to manage structured and unstructured content from any type of document, transforming unpredictably formatted content into actionable information, the company says.

The company further explains that Xtrata Pro is especially well-suited for information capture applications of low-to-medium complexity. Wizards are also provided to further speed the building of projects. Both image and content classification can be managed by Ascent Xtrata Pro, allowing users to classify fixed layout documents (forms) and variable layout/content- rich documents (correspondence).
