Easing omnichannel implementation with eGain

In a move designed to extend eGain’s customer engagement platform with contact center management, reporting and analytics capabilities, the company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Exony.

The companies report that global service providers and Fortune 500 companies rely on Exony solutions to consolidate contact center infrastructure, manage operations and improve customer experience. Exony says its solutions are used by more than 80 clients with contact center operations across 34 countries.

The deal calls for eGain to acquire Exony for a purchase price of approximately $16.1 million, consisting of approximately $8 million in cash and $8 million in eGain common stock.
