Datawatch introduces ES 4.6

Datawatch has released ES 4.6, the latest iteration of its enterprise business intelligence and reporting solution. The company claims V. 4.6 has been designed to allow organizations to easily extract and analyze information from critical business documents to drive more efficient operations.

Datawatch reports ES 4.6 features compatibility with Monarch V10 and provides export of data to Excel with extended support for Excel 2007, including .xlsx files containing up to one million rows of data, embedded instructions for pivot tables and Excel formulas. Also included are additional enhancements to improve performance when processing extremely large documents, increased granularity when extracting data from multisubject document pages, new data filters and sorting capabilities, and improved administrative functionality. Datawatch ES 4.6 also offers support for additional operating systems and databases, including:

• Windows Server 2008,
• SQL Server 2008 32/64 bit,
• SQL Server 2005 64 bit,
• Oracle 11i database,
• WebSphere 6.1, and
• Tomcat 6.0.
