Alfresco localizes

Alfresco has released a range of new user interface language packs in Alfresco Community 3.4. The language packs, available in French, German, European Spanish, Italian and Japanese, are the first to have been developed by Alfresco in conjunction with a localization vendor.

Alfresco claims the process ensures Alfresco’s localized products will perform as if they were originally created for use in the intended country. Professional localization teams will help improve consistency of the language and terms used, and will greatly enhance acceptance by users.

The first language packs are available now in the Alfresco Community download and will be incorporated into the Alfresco Enterprise 3.4 release, which is expected soon.
