A2iA rolls out new software toolkit

A2iA has unveiled A2iA Mobility for iOS, expanding upon the solution’s Android support since its launch earlier this year. A2iA says the new software development toolkit delivers all image cleanup, analysis and data extraction functionality to the local device for offline recognition.

The company says A2iA Mobility’s global footprint and capabilities can be expanded to address new versions as they relate to the country, industry or document-type. Suitable for a multitude of documents including checks, identification documents and other forms, A2iA Mobility is an API, customizable within the host application and easily interfaceable with existing banking software, such as internal risk management solutions. Users receive immediate confirmation that all identified data-points have been accurately captured prior to sending to the financial institution or back office, reducing manual re-keying and the number of times the data and image are transferred between parties, ensuring that mobile data recognition takes place with a more seamless user experience.
