Dennis Pearce has over 30 years experience in various engineering and IT positions within IBM and Lexmark. He is currently Enterprise Knowledge Architect at Lexmark, developing KM and collaboration strategy and managing the company's internal collaboration platform. He recently completed a PhD in Decision Sciences and Information Systems, focusing on the measurement of Working Out Loud as a way to improve organizational collaboration.

In recent years, the proliferation of social business and collaboration software has allowed a grass roots movement to form that counters this tendency by encouraging "working out loud," the idea of sharing work-in-progress as immediately and openly as possible.
