Biographical Information

Dan Roffman and David Freskos, FTI Technology

David Freskos is a Director in the FTI Technology practice's Chicago computer forensics laboratory. Mr. Freskos consults on best practices for data collection and executes efficient and defensible processes to reduce data volumes during collection and subsequent data processing. Mr. Freskos has also led the initiative at FTI to provide cloud-based data collection services for FTI clients from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.  Mr. Freskos earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Operations Decision Technology from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Mr. Freskos attended Guidance Software forensic training and earned a certification as an EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE). He is also a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association, Midwest Chapter.

Daniel E. Roffman is a Managing Director in the FTI Technology segment and is based in Chicago. Roffman has more than eight years of experience in the computer forensics and eDiscovery field and routinely advises some of the world's leading corporations on electronic discovery issues. His client engagements focus on data acquisition, forensic examination, online investigations, development of custom solutions, and consulting on eDiscovery preparedness for corporations.
