Linda Myers-Tierney

Ms. Myers-Tierney is a widely recognized industry analyst and principal in her own consulting company, originally founded in 1990. Myers-Tierney & Associates conducts proprietary consulting and market research internationally and assists vendors in all aspects of the product positioning and marketing processes. Ms. Myers-Tierney has been published extensively and conducted numerous consulting and market research projects on such topics as Knowledge Management, Electronic Document Management, Information Retrieval, Collaborative Computing, and Electronic Commerce. The scope of these projects has spanned from management overviews of significant factors in a technology or application area, to product positioning consulting, consolidation planning, user requirements, competitive analyses, market analyses, and forecasting. Ms. Myers-Tierney is the editor of a vendor-sponsored white paper series covering key aspects of knowledge management and electronic document management markets, featuring leading players in those industries. Additionally she regularly publishes columns on knowledge and document management in KM World magazine and The Internet Market Review.

Her clients have included leading and new entrant vendors in the technology areas of knowledge management, document management, imaging, groupware, and others. Ms. Myers-Tierney is recognized in Who’s Who Worldwide and Who’s Who of Global Business Leaders, and is also an internationally recognized speaker and widely quoted by industry publications. Her previous experience includes a Directorship at International Data Corporation and management positions in finance, sales, and marketing at Digital Equipment Corporation.
