Inxight Software and Clarabridge have formed an alliance whereby they will integrate and jointly market the Inxight SmartDiscovery suite with the Clarabridge Content Mining Platform. They say the combined solution allows users to rapidly extract meaning from text along with structured data sources.

The companies add that the combination of the offerings helps transform unstructured content such as contracts, filings, forms, call center notes, medical records, insurance claims, e-mails, etc., into rich, structured data so it can be efficiently and effectively understood and analyzed within existing or future BI applications.

Inxight explains the SmartDiscovery suite is a complete, integrated solution for understanding text in all major languages. Its set of text analysis tools includes search; categorization; and entity, event and relationship extraction. Clarabridge says its Content Mining Platform provides customers with the ability to efficiently and effectively source, transform, store and analyze unstructured data, and do it in a way that is easy to manage, allowing it to perform much like structured data within an existing or future BI deployment.
