Vital Path has unveiled PathBuilder Studio, which is designed to put control of unregulated content in the hands of the business user, thereby moving migration projects from the back office to the desktop. The company claims PathBuilder Studio allows corporations to easily migrate content from one or multiple sources into enterprise content management (ECM) repositories, a problem that, it adds, until now did not have an efficient, secure solution.

PathBuilder Studio's vendor-neutral approach is designed to answer both one-to-one and many-to-one repository migrations. It allows business users to move content, calendars and tasks at the file, folder or repository level, retaining all associated metadata while using a familiar and intuitive graphical user interface. This approach not only speeds up the migration, it maximizes return on investment, says Vital Path.
