Plumtree tabs Adobe exec as CEO
Plumtree Software has named former Adobe VP and GM John Kunze as its new CEO. Kunze was at different times responsible for Adobe's company-wide product marketing, global Internet products and strategies, and for Adobe's first internal start-up division. "John has done it all at a very successful company, and he has a history of spearheading profitable technical and business initiatives," said Plumtree chairman and acting CEO Pierre Lamond. Kunze sees the intranet market as a new forum that will bring information together and conquer information overload. "Going forward, intranets will be the way that people see all the information related to their work, and Plumtree will be the platform for those intranets," he said.
