Search for legal expertise

Recommind has announced the newest addition to the MindServer Legal product suite--MindServer Legal Matters & Expertise, which extends document search to include a firm's attorneys, matters, deals, cases and documents associated with any topic.

The company says Matters & Expertise enables attorneys and legal staff to quickly locate expertise within their firm relevant to a particular legal topic, and understand what matters the firm has worked on relating to that topic. Recommind explains that in the Matter View, details are provided for each matter, including the client, matter description and dates, as well as links to related documents and attorneys who have worked on the file. In the attorney view, users see the attorney's profile, all matters and documents associated with that attorney for the topic, as well as links to the attorney's contact information for immediate contact.
