Modus Operandi releases Wave 2.1

Modus Operandi has released Wave 2.1, its enterprise integration information (EII) system.

New features include: third-party infrastructure components such as BEA Systems' WebLogic and Liquid Data, used for the EII engine and application server and Borland Together Architect, used for advanced data modeling.

Modus Operandi says Wave provides a unified view of the enterprise while overcoming issues of data location and format. Through a combination of advanced data models and enterprise information integration, the company claims, Wave eliminates the need to develop, maintain and manage unique interfaces for each data query. Wave 2.1 is said to support the complete information integration life cycle, from the creation and verification of the enterprise data model to the deployment of a reusable integration solution that rapidly adapts to changes in the user's environment.
