Mark Logic unveils new architecture

Mark Logic, which calls itself the developer of the first enterprise-class database designed for content, has announced its Open Content Architecture (OCA) and a new partner network.

The company says using its software and the solutions provided by its partners, customers now have an open, extensible platform on which content-centric applications can be rapidly built and deployed. The new partner network includes providers in content conversion, content authoring/real-time collaboration, content enrichment, entity extraction, dynamic taxonomy generation, visualization and content integration. Together these companies will deliver solutions for customers leveraging Mark Logic as an open content database platform.

Founding members in the Partner Network include: Blast Radius, ClearForest, Composite Software, Exegenix, Groxis, Intellisophic, Inxight, Itemfield and Olive Software.
