Nuxeo Releases Android Mobile App for Digital Content Management

Nuxeo, developer of a hyperscale digital asset platform which enables organizations to manage complex content at scale, has released a new mobile app for Android devices.

Now with mobile apps for iOS, announced in June 2016,  and Android, Nuxeo says it is enabling users to seamlessly manage their digital content from any device, at any time.

By providing secure access to a Nuxeo content repository from mobile devices, said Nuxeo CEO Eric Barroca, Nuxeo is supporting higher user and business productivity. Now mobile users can manage their content from anywhere with the same performance they’re accustomed to with the Nuxeo web interface.

With the Nuxeo Android mobile app, users can browse content by viewing thumbnails of digital assets including media files, text documents, PDFs; preview documents, photos or videos, without downloading them; mark favorite digital assets for easier access, do title, content and full-text search, backed by Elasticsearch;  and create shared and personal collections that can be shared

Free to Nuxeo users, the Nuxeo mobile app for Android is available via Google Play now for Android 4.4 and above and the Nuxeo Mobile app for iOS is now available on the App Store.
