WebSideStory merges with Visual Sciences

WebSideStory has announced its merger with Visual Sciences, provider of streaming data analysis and visualization software and on-demand services. WebSideStory says Visual Sciences' technology has unique capabilities in the areas of real-time data visualization and dynamic segmentation of massive data stores. Visual Science's business model has been to selectively target high-end customers and add value within those accounts.

WebSideStory offers on-demand digital marketing applications designed to improve online marketing and sales. Its Active Marketing Suite consists of Web analytics, site search and Web content management. Later this year, the company is expected to introduce a keyword bid management.
