Wang creates new Office of the President

Wang Laboratories (Billerica, MA, http://www.wang.com

) has created an Office of the President, comprised of two positions that report directly to CEO Joseph Tucci. Jose Ofman serves as president and COO of the Americas and Mias van Vuuren assumes the role of president and COO for international operations. The new management structure aligns Wang's core businesses worldwide.

Ofman joins from Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he most recently served as corporate VP and group executive. Van Vuuren joined Wang in 1993 and has been president of international operations since 1994.
