Visualize deep analytics

A marked upgrade to previous versions of its research and analysis software tool, anacubis’ Desktop 3.0 gives users access to deep analytics through the transformation of complex information drawn from any structured or semi-structured data source into a graphical map that highlights the relationships and links contained in the data. In Version 3, says anacubis, the results of this research can be queried, categorized and summarized using a range of new analysis features.

The company explains the product now automates and simplifies the process of complex analysis through an intuitive, wizard-driven interface. Desktop 3.0 also extends the scope of enterprise information sources that can be analyzed in its visual environment, adding support for Microsoft Access, Oracle and SQL-based databases, complementing the existing Microsoft Excel and HTML importers and information available from anacubis-enabled online providers such as Dun & Bradstreet, Hoover’s, LexisNexis and Questel Orbit.

New features in anacubis Desktop 3.0 include:

  • database connectivity—extending the benefits of visual research and analysis to more enterprise information sources,

  • summarize relationships--enabling users to aggregate and generate networks of entity relationships,

  • categorization—allowing users to enhance understanding of their research by creating categories based upon the properties of entities,

  • a Find Path feature—permitting users to take any two entities in their document and find all the links and linked entities between them,

  • image importation—enabling entity creation using image and logo catalogs, and

  • an interactive product guide.
