Viador joins Cognos program

Under a new agreement, Viador has joined the Cognos Enterprise Portal Partner program, providing users of the Viador E-Portal access to Cognos business intelligence reports, analysis, and queries and visualization.

In a press release, Cognos VP of strategic alliances, Patrick O’Leary, says the company’s EPP program provides personalized, Web-based access of strategic corporate data using Cognos' business intelligence solutions and key portal solutions. He adds that the agreement “will enable joint customers to combine traditional and e-business processes and provide timely information delivery to customers, partners and suppliers.”

Viador reports its E-Portal platform allows companies to combine multiple applications, data sources, business intelligence tools, documents, intranets and Web-based content into a self-service portal. The company further claims its products help enterprises leverage their existing systems investments to reduce costs, build better partner and customer relationships, improve productivity and create new sources of revenue.
