UMAX unveils two high-resolution color scanners at Print '97

) unveiled two new additions to its Powerlook line of ultra-high resolution scanners at Print '97 in Chicago. The Powerlook 3000 flatbed scanner offers near-drum scanner quality, dual lens design and a Dmax of 3.6, all for well under $10,000. The Powerlook III includes 9600 maximum resolution, a Dmax of 3.4, and 42-bit depth. Both models come bundled with UMAX's Bit Enhancement Technology, which enhances color bits normally lost during the scanning process.
