Sybase Partners with HydraWeb and Incession for OLTP Solutions

A pair of partnerships puts Sybase's (Emeryville, CA) Jaguar transaction server in the middle-tier driver's seat. The combination of Sybase and HydraWeb (New York) technology will add dynamic load capabilities to the Jaguar CTS Web online transaction processing (OLTP) applications to help manage the influx of new Web applications like electronic commerce, customer self-service and online order processing. Incession (Boulder, CO) brings component-based access for transaction processing and messaging environments like BEA Tuxedo and IBM MQ Series to the table. "Customers that are building OLTP applications on the Web need value-added services such as load balancing and legacy integration with Tuxedo in order to develop and deploy scalable, adaptable, integrated Web solutions," said Mike Merritt, director of Internet Transaction Products at Sybase.
