Supply chain company receives additional funding

Datasweep, a maker of Web-centric supply chain manufacturing solutions and a partner of Agile Software, has acquired an additional $12 million in venture funding. The money, from existing investor Mohr, Davidow Ventures and new investor Accel Partners, will be applied toward expanding sales, marketing, customer support and professional services.

"Datasweep has an enormous opportunity to solve a critical problem in the supply chain for manufacturers who are working hard to meet the demand for customized products and to deliver them in a timely and cost effective manner," said Jim Breyer, managing director of Accel Partners.
